Muotech in Brussels: Dual-Use Technologies and the Future of Infrastructure Intelligence

11.05.2026

Muotech participated in discussions in Brussels focused on the growing strategic importance of dual-use technologies across Europe.

Conversations with policymakers, industry representatives, and innovation ecosystems repeatedly highlighted several priority areas: infrastructure resilience, underground assets, energy systems, and advanced diagnostic capabilities.
These challenges increasingly require technologies capable of delivering reliable infrastructure intelligence in complex operational environments.

This is where Muon Imaging brings a new approach.
By using naturally occurring cosmic-ray muons, Muotech develops non-invasive diagnostic solutions that enable insight into large-scale and difficult-to-access structures without interrupting operations.

As Europe accelerates investments in resilience, modernization, and security, infrastructure diagnostics are becoming a critical capability across both civilian and strategic sectors.

During the visit, Muotech engaged with representatives and ecosystems connected to East Poland House in Brussels, Business & Science Poland, the European Innovation Council (EIC), Carpathian Startup Fest, the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR), the European Future Innovation System (EFIS) Centre, and Podkarpackie Centrum Innowacji.

The discussions reinforced the growing importance of deployable deeptech solutions capable of moving beyond research environments into real-world infrastructure applications.
